EXPERIENCE

Ali Haroon joined Bain Capital in 2021. He is a Partner and the Head of Real Estate and Special Situations in Europe. Prior to relocating to the London office, he led Bain Capital's Special Situations Real Estate efforts in Asia, where he remains actively involved.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ali was a Partner and a member of the Investment Committee at Värde Partners, Inc. At Värde, he was most recently responsible for their Asia and North America Real Estate business, based in New York. Prior to that, he was head of Värde Partners Asia based in Singapore. Before moving to Singapore, Ali worked in Värde's London office with a focus on European Real Estate investments and CMBS. Prior to Värde, he was an investment banking associate and analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group at Bear Stearns, based in London and New York.

EDUCATION

Ali graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in economics and received an MBA from INSEAD, France.
