Gray Stephens
EXPERIENCE

Mr. Stephens joined Bain Capital in 2018.  He is a Senior Fund Tax Advisor for the firm, responsible for managing tax matters for Bain Capital Real Estate.  

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Stephens worked in EY’s tax practice as a CPA focusing on tax and transactional matters for private equity funds and multinational companies.  Previously, he worked with Ropes & Gray LLP as a tax attorney representing institutional investors in private real estate fund investments, REIT joint ventures and other transactions.         
    

EDUCATION

Mr. Stephens received a JD cum laude from the North Carolina School of Law and an MA in Accounting and a BS in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
