EXPERIENCE

James Long joined Bain Capital in 2025. He is the Associate General Counsel for the Real Estate business. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital, James worked as a senior counsel at BioMed Realty, a leading owner, operator, and developer of life sciences real estate. Previously, he was an Associate in the real estate group at Ropes & Gray LLP.

EDUCATION

James received his JD from Boston College Law School and his BA from Tufts University. He is a member of the state bar of Massachusetts.
