EXPERIENCE

Joseph Pawelski joined Bain Capital Real Estate in 2025. He is a Vice President on the Real Estate team focusing on research, analytics, and data science.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Joe was Director of Investment Research at Welltower where he provided analytics, reporting, GIS capabilities, and insights supporting operational and capital investment decisions. Previously, he served as Director of Market Research at AvalonBay Communities.

EDUCATION

Joe graduated cum laude from Northeastern University with a BS in economics and earned an MS in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University.
