Matthew Fortuin
EXPERIENCE

Mr. Fortuin joined Bain Capital in 2022 to serve as the head of the Real Estate group’s asset management function.  

Prior to joining Bain Capital he was a Vice President at AEW Capital Management where he lead a team of office asset management specialists with oversight for 15 million square feet of office space with a market value in excess of $6.5 billion.  Before that, Mr. Fortuin was a Senior Director at Sun Life Financial where he served in a variety of capacities in their commercial real estate investment group including asset management, acquisitions and debt origination, across multiple property types.
 

EDUCATION

Mr. Fortuin holds an MBA from The Kellogg School, and received a BA in Economics and Government from Bowdoin College.  Mr. Fortuin is also a CFA Charterholder.
