Matthew Fortuin
EXPERIENCE

Matthew Fortuin joined Bain Capital in 2022. He is a Senior Vice President and serves as the head of Real Estate’s asset management team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Matthew was a Vice President at AEW Capital Management, leading a team of office asset management specialists with oversight for 15 million square feet of office space and a market value in excess of $6.5 billion. Before that, he was a Senior Director at Sun Life Financial where he served in a variety of capacities in their commercial real estate investment group including asset management, acquisitions, and debt origination, across multiple property types.

EDUCATION

Matthew holds an MBA from The Kellogg School and received a BA in economics and government from Bowdoin College. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
