Douglas Doughty
EXPERIENCE

Mr. Doughty joined Bain Capital in 2023 as Head of Strategy for Bain Capital Real Estate.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Doughty was a Managing Director and Head of Strategy and Special Situations for Fortress Investment Group where he was responsible for investment strategy of the global real estate platform and portfolio management of the real estate value-add initiative. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Doughty was Global Head of Business Development for J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets where he was a management committee member overseeing a global real estate, infrastructure, and maritime investment management platform.  Mr. Doughty has over 25 years of real estate investment management, investment banking, and consulting experience. 
 

EDUCATION

Mr. Doughty received his MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in Economics and Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
