Since 2010, our team has focused on investments where our experienced team can apply deep industry expertise to accelerate impact and drive operational improvements. Our goal is to execute carefully defined, true value-add strategies to create high-quality stabilized assets and portfolios with consistent success. As part of the Bain Capital platform, we are able to leverage experience and expertise from across the firm in the life sciences, industrial / distribution, residential, media & content and healthcare sectors to help inform our investment themes. Since 2019, Bain Capital Real Estate has sought to acquire, renovate, develop and operate differentiated creative office and content production spaces. Notably, the team has partnered with David Simon and BARDAS Investment Group to establish one of the real estate industry’s first dedicated content media brands, Echelon.
Life Sciences
Since 2013, Bain Capital Real Estate has sought to acquire, convert, develop and operate life science assets in the most prominent U.S. life science clusters. We created Genesis, a vertically integrated platform, with our partner Phase 3 Real Estate Partners, to brand our high-quality and flexible lab space product.
