Elizabeth Carrillo Thomas
EXPERIENCE

Ms. Thomas joined Bain Capital in 2018 as part of Bain Capital Real Estate’s founding team. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ms. Thomas was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager in Harvard Management Company’s (HMC) Real Estate Investment Group where she was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, negotiating and managing HMC’s real estate investments.

Prior to joining HMC in 2010, Ms. Thomas was Executive Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Boston Capital Markets group from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, she was a Senior Vice President in CBRE’s Institutional Investment Sales Group from 2002 to 2005 and worked in the Chicago, New York and Boston offices of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) from 1989 to 2002 where she invested across asset classes. Before JLL, Ms. Thomas worked at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets.

EDUCATION

Ms. Thomas received an MBA from University of Chicago, earned an AB in Economics from Harvard College, and studied at Berklee College of Music.
